GOKO is the cultivar of Gyokuro, green tea. Dark green Gyokuro, caused by shading sunlight. You can enjoy a scent like burdock. Its umami is like soup stock.
Chiyoji Fujita made this at the center of the Uji where the most branded area as the finest Gyokuro and Matcha. He has been making tea for 65years. He is not out going personality but is passionated about making good tea as he said, "Someday, I want to take the top prize in Japan with one into the other world."
